About Starr:

Starr Howland is a Licensed Limited Professional Counselor serving children, teens, and adults in Brighton, Michigan and the surrounding Livingston County area. With a background in both mental health therapy and substance abuse counseling, Starr brings a well-rounded, compassionate approach to her work. She is dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and empowered to grow, and she meets every person she works with exactly where they are.

Starr holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Developmental Psychology, reflecting her deep commitment to staying at the forefront of her field and providing the most informed, effective care possible.
